According to weather.com, today was a record high for Eau Claire.  The high temperature was 76ºF, which was 11º warmer than the previous high.  Right now it is 55ºF, with a dew point of 50ºF, calm winds, and about 75% cloud cover.  Tonight the temperature should drop into the low 40s, but warm up into the upper 60s tomorrow.

 This map shows a stationary front to the southwest of Wisconsin, with another warm front behind it that could be moving our way.
