Monday, April 2nd

Today was another breezy day with a high of 66ºF.  It is currently 54ºF with a dew point of 37ºF, and winds about 15 mph from the southeast.  Over the course of the day, there were altocumulus clouds around 10 AM, cirrus clouds around 4 PM, and stratus clouds covering about 90% of the sky right now.  These stratus clouds, mixed with the wind coming out of the southeast, should precipitation within the next few hours.  This is the case in terms of the forecast tonight, as scattered thunderstorms are being predicted to hit the Eau Claire area tonight and tomorrow.  This radar image shows these storms approaching from the west.
