Monday, February 27th

Today was a relatively boring day in the world of weather compared to what is coming next. We experienced clear skies with a high of 33ºF and winds out of the southeast.  Currently it is 22ºF and it is expected to get dip down to 15ºF tonight.  Tomorrow is when things start to get interesting.  There is a storm system moving towards us from the southeast that should bring snow or a wintry mix of rain, snow, and ice.  The precipitation could start as early as 3 AM Tuesday morning, and should continue throughout the day.  How much we will be determined by the wind direction as the storm approaches.

This is a current surface map showing the storm approaching the state of Wisconsin.
