Friday, April 13th

Today was a moderately cool day dominated by cloud cover and wind.  The sky was overcast the whole day, and the high was 55ºF.  There were some gusts of wind that got up to over 30 mph from the southeast.  It is currently 53ºF with a dew point of 39ºF. Wind is still flowing from the southeast with gusts anywhere from 20 to 30 mph.  Tonight should be rather mild, with an expected low of only 50ºF.  The cloud cover should continue into tomorrow, where we can expect some isolated thunderstorms and a high of around 74ºF.
The surface map shows a warm front followed by a cold front approaching from the southwest.  There is a low pressure system over western Minnesota and areas of rain that should bring us precipiation tomorrow and into tomorrow night.
