Thursday, April 19th

Today was a rather gloomy and rainy day.  Precipitation first began falling around 8:30 this morning, but quickly stopped.  It picked up again around 2:30, and has been steadily raining since.  It is currently 39ºF with a dew point of 37ºF, and winds from the northeast at 11 mph.  The rain is expected to continue throughout the night, and could turn into snow in the early hours of the morning as the temperature could dip below freezing.  You can see the current rain and fog moving over the state right now, which is just north of a stationary front extending from Michigan all the way down to southwestern Texas.  After the rain moves through our area tonight, tomorrow should be mostly sunny with a high of 54ºF.
