Wednesday, April 18th

This morning started out wet and rainy, but it turned out to be a very nice day.  About a half of inch fell last night, but for most of the day, it was warm and partly cloudy.  The high temperature was 64ºF, and cumulus clouds covered about 50% of the sky for the majority of the day.  It is currently 46ºF with a dew point of 37ºF.  The pressure is 29.98 in. and rising, indicating clearing and improving weather, and there is about a 10 mph wind from the north.  This wind from the north should bring cooler temperatures tonight and tomorrow.  The low tonight is expected to be 38ºF, and the high for tomorrow is 47ºF.
The map shows some precipitation moving ahead of a stationary front off to the west.  This should move into the  Eau Claire area tomorrow and bring some rain.
