Tuesday, April 24th

Today was a very sunny and warm day with a high of 70ºF.  There were a few cirrus clouds early on, but they soon cleared out and the sky was clear for most of the day.  Now there are just a few clouds covering about 20% of the sky.  It is 54ºF with a dew point of 25ºF, and there are some winds from the east at 12 mph.  Showers are in the forecast for tonight and into tomorrow, along with some possible thundershowers and a high of around 64ºF.
Some small areas of rain can be seen over Minnesota that could affect us overnight, along with a larger area of precipitation over Kentucky and Tennessee.  The precipitation over Minnesota is in front of a warm front that is moving towards us, which is the reason for the precipitation that is being predicted.
