Monday, May 7th

Today was another warm, sunny day.  The high was 68ºF, and for most of the day, there were cumulus and some cirrus clouds covering about 30% of the sky.  Right now the temperature is 54ºF with a dew point of 45ºF, and winds from the west at about 5 mph.  There also appears to still be some cumulus clouds in the sky.  A low of 44ºF is expected for tonight, and a high of 61ºF with some rain tomorrow evening is in the forecast.
The surface map shows a low pressure system to the north of the state, which could be the cause of the rain that is in the forecast for tomorrow.  There is also a very long cold front extending through most of the country with precipitation all along it.  The western part of the country shows three high pressure systems that should bring good weather later in the week.
