Sunday, May 6th

After a few thunderstorms have traveled through the past few days, today was precipitation free.  Yesterdays storms brought an estimated 0.61 inches of rain.  Today's high was 59ºF and was overcast for most of the day.  It is currently 53ºF with  a dew point of 53ºF, indicating that there is 100% humidity.  There is a wind from the east at about 3 mph.  Tonight the temperature should only drop a few degrees, and a low of 50ºF is expected.  A high of 70ºF is being predicted, as well as clearing skies as the day goes on.
As you can see, the current surface map shows an occluded front right over Eau Claire that stretches from a low pressure system in Iowa up into Canada.
