Tuesday, April 17th

Today was a very nice day compared to what we experienced yesterday.  The high was 57ºF, and for most of the day it was sunny.  Around 5 PM there were altocumulus and cumulus clouds in the sky.  As of now it looks as if those clouds have changed to stratus clouds.  Currently it is 52ºF with a dew point of 36ºF.  The wind is out of the southeast at about 10 mph, and the pressure is 30.14 in. and staying steady.  We should be getting some thunderstorms overnight and into tomorrow morning.  The winds should pick up again, and we can expect a high of around 65ºF tomorrow.
The surface map shows the incoming storm from the west.  It is currently in front of a low pressure system, and in between a stationary front and an incoming cold front.  Two large cold fronts can be seen on the east coast with some precipitation between them stretching from Alabama to Virginia.
